Your files
The PDF Studio processes PDFs and images locally in your browser. Your files, passwords and any text you enter are not uploaded to our servers and we never see them. When you close or refresh the page they are discarded from memory.
Share links (optional)
The result screen has a “Copy link” button. Nothing is uploaded unless you click it and confirm. Then that one file is uploaded to our server (Cloudflare Workers KV), stored for 2 hours under a random, unguessable address, and deleted automatically afterwards – or immediately when you press “Delete link now” or delete the result. Anyone who has the link can download the file, and we do not look at it or index it. Your IP address is used briefly to limit abuse (rate limiting) and appears in Cloudflare’s standard request logs.
Advertising on the free plan
Ads are not currently shown. If we enable advertising for free visitors, this policy will name the ad provider and explain its cookies before ads go live. Pro visitors will never see ads.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage (and one small cookie) for: your light/dark theme preference; a counter of how many free runs you have used in the current 2 hours window, which applies the free limit (5 runs across all tools every 2 hours); and, for Pro visitors, a signed token that proves the plan. These are needed for the site to work as described. No analytics cookies are set.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which tools are popular. Cloudflare states that it works without cookies and without fingerprinting or tracking visitors across sites. It never sees your files.
Google Drive and Dropbox
If you choose to pick a file from, or save a result to, Google Drive or Dropbox, your browser talks to that service directly after you sign in with it. The file travels between your drive and your device – it is never sent to our servers, and we only ever get access to the files you pick or save (Google: the “drive.file” scope; Dropbox: our own app folder). Their scripts load only when you click their button, and their privacy policies apply to what they receive.
Third-party resources
The OCR tool downloads language data files from a public content-delivery network (jsDelivr) the first time you pick a language. Only the language name is requested – never your document.
