Yes – Edit Metadata is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. Free visitors get 5 runs across all tools every 2 hours; Pro (coming soon) removes the limit and the ads.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Edit Metadata runs entirely in your browser, so your PDF never leaves your device and nobody else can see it. The only exception is the optional “Copy link” button: if you click it and confirm, that one file is uploaded and kept for 2 hours so you can send a download link, then deleted automatically.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern mobile or desktop browser. Very large files need enough free memory on your device.
